My name is Howard Walker. I am a 56-year-old black man. I was born in Honolulu, Hawaii and my family and I relocated to New York when I was nine years of age. I am an inspiring individual who has overcome various challenges to make a significant impact on my community.

Growing up in a financially constrained environment, I realized the importance of education and earned a bachelor’s degree in electrical technology. I worked diligently as an electrician earning a respectable salary of $175,000 annually. However, I harbored an unrelenting desire to achieve greater financial empowerment for myself and my community, a topic that is rarely discussed in the black community.

Driven by this ambition, I embarked on a journey to learn the art and skill of trading and managing my own financial portfolio. However, this path was not without its challenges. Along the way, I encountered countless scammers and deceptive individuals, as well as a wealth of misguided information. My drive to bridge the wealth gap in the black community has led me to create my own business” Opportunity & Advancement Masters where I teach. One of my classes titled “The Lesson in Front of you” has grown and is proven to be empowering. Here, I impart life-changing trading skills to the community.

While I have achieved great success in the trading world, my commitment to making a difference extended beyond financial matters. As a board member of the Midnight Run nonprofit organization, I actively contribute to feeding and clothing the street homeless population in my community. My personal experiences with homelessness and other challenges fueled my determination to serve and support those in need.
